Tech Savvy

I'm not a columnist for a computer magazine, but what's wrong with pretending? In 1992, my family's first computer lit a 25 Megahertz flame in my heart for technology that continues to burn at breakneck speeds. Ever the early adopter of new devices and platforms, I only feel at ease on the cutting edge. I see my generation's coming of age as the onset of the Information Era -- not the apex. My interest in technology is deeper than an affinity for high tech gizmos. I enjoy thinking, talking and writing about how today's gadgets are actually changing the way we see the world, and as a result, reshaping the world itself.
